These individual packets of almonds are the perfect snack or mini-meal if you're trying to do the six-a-day small meals instead of three larger ones.
Each package holds 1 oz. which represents 160 calories; 14g fat (the very good kind - almonds are heart healthy); 10mg sodium (when do you ever see such a low salt content - and this is natural sodium in the almonds, not salted nuts); 190mg potassium (having leg cramps?); 5g carbs; and 2g fiber (subtract from the carbs for an ECC of only 3 grams of carbs per serving; ECC = effective carbohydrate count).
I do have to say that there is the occasional stale, chewy nut in the bunch but I haven't been able to find any almonds from any supplier or in any form that doesn't have them. Can't really say why because some nuts are fresh & crunchy but a few just aren't.
I won't deduct a star for that simply because it seems to be the nature of the food...large cans, large or small bags, they all have some "chewy" ones.
The individual packaging helps me monitor just how many I eat, too, because I could just sit down with a party can of almonds and have a party by myself...until they were all gone in one fell swoop.
If you like flavored nuts, you could add your own seasonings such as GARLIC SALT FRESHLY PACKED IN LARGE JARS, spices, herbs, seasonings if you want something with a little more punch.
